Pokémon Go Pawmi Community Day

Pokémon Go Pawmi Community Day

Pawmi takes the spotlight during Pokémon Go’s May Community Day event on Sunday 11th May from 2pm to 5pm (local time).

During May’s Community Day event, you’ll have the chance to catch both a shiny Pawmi and a Pawmi with 100% perfect IV stats. Just make sure you’re catching as many Pawmi as possible in Pokémon Go to make these dreams a reality!

Alongside Pawmi popping up all over the place, there’s also a selection of May Community Day bonuses to take advantage of. This includes a useful hatch distance reduction bonus.

Shiny Pawmi: What does shiny Pawmi look like and how to get it

Shiny Pawmi sees it abandoning its orange colouring for a pink, almost peach, colour. Personally, I think it looks really cute!

Shiny Pawmi Family Comparison from r/TheSilphRoad

Thank you to YelloWool from reddit for this preview of the shiny Pawmi family.

Every Community Day sees the shiny odds for its chosen Pokémon – in this case Pawmi – are increased. Thanks to this, you shouldn’t have much trouble tracking a shiny Pawmi down! Simply keep catching Pawmi until you get one. Though, if you want to increase your chances, you can always use Incense to further increase the number of Pawmi spawns you encounter.

Pawmi 100% perfect stats in Pokémon Go

May’s Community Day is the perfect time to find a Pawmi with perfect IV stats. These are 15/15/15 stats you’re looking for to create a maxed out, 100% IV Pokémon, for your 4* Pokédex, raids and Master League.

If you’re at least Level 30 (or above), you’ll ideally be looking for the following CPs for a perfect 15/15/15 Pawmi:

  • Level 30 (wild CP maximum) – 545 CP
  • Level 35 (weather-boosted wild CP maximum) – 590 CP

The wild CP value aligns with your Trainer Level until you reach Level 30 and, due to the majority of the player base now being above this level, we’ve kept to these values for the sake of simplicity. These values will, however, be different if you’re currently below Level 30.

The Might and Mastery Season and its seasonal quest has arrived. Crown Clash is currently running, introducing Kingambit.

You can now catch Dynamax Pokémon through Max Battles. First, however, you need to visit Power Spots to collect Max Particles and complete the To the Max! quest.

Don’t forget to try out Routes, Gift Exchange and Party Play while you’re hunting down rare Pokémon, fighting in the Go Battle League or competing in PokéStop Showcases.

Pawmi’s Community Day move

If you evolve a Pawmo into Pawmot between 2pm (local time) on Sunday 11th May to 10pm (local time) on Sunday 18th May, Pawmot will know Brick Break – a Fighting-type Charged Attack.

While this exclusive move is available for longer compared to your typical Community Day, we recommend getting it during the event hours of 2pm to 5pm (local time). This is because another of May’s Community Day bonuses is that you only need to walk 1km with Pawmo as your buddy to evolve it into Pawmot. If you wait until past 5pm (local time) on Sunday 11th May, you’ll have to walk the regular required distance of 25km, which makes the exclusive move harder to obtain.

Best Pawmot moveset recommendation in Pokémon Go

Our recommendation for Pawmot’s best moveset in Pokémon Go is Low Kick as a Fast Move and Wild Charge as a Charged Move. This moveset takes advantage of Pawmot’s Electric and Fighting-type moveset.

The sad thing is that Pawmot doesn’t fare well in the Pokémon Go meta at all. Using Pawmot in any of the Go Battle Leagues is basically a no-go. (Seriously, it’s so far down in the rankings it’s a little embarrassing.) Pawmot does do slightly better in raids though and by that I mean it’s a mid range Electric-type attacker and a ‘Don’t even try’ Fighting-type attacker. At least it has one thing going for it, I guess?

Pawmot.

Still, if you are interesting in using Pawmot, here’s Pawmot’s full Pokémon Go moveset:

Fast Moves

  • Charge Beam (Electric)
  • Low Kick (Fighting)
  • Spark (Electric)

Charged Moves

  • Close Combat (Fighting)
  • Discharge (Electric)
  • Thunder Punch (Electric)
  • Thunderbolt (Electric)
  • Wild Charge (Electric)
